Cookies

Version 0.1 · Effective 23 October 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This policy lists every cookie IKU uses and why.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies make the website work. They are set without asking, because the site can't work without them, and they are never used for tracking or advertising.

  • iku_age_ok: remembers that you've confirmed you are 18 or over. Lasts 30 days.
  • iku_country: remembers the delivery country you chose, so we only show what can be sold there. Lasts 30 days.
  • iku_consent: remembers your cookie choice, with a random ID that doesn't identify you. Lasts 6 months, then we ask again.
  • iku_cart: holds what's in your cart. Lasts 30 days.
  • iku_login: remembers the email address you're logging in with while you enter your code. Lasts 10 minutes.
  • iku_session: keeps you logged in. Lasts 30 days from your last visit, or until you log out.
  • iku_checkout: holds your checkout while you pay. Lasts 30 minutes.

On the payment pages

Our two payment pages (the checkout's payment step and "Change your payment method") show our payment provider's own form, which sets its own strictly necessary cookies to take the payment and prevent fraud. They are set only on those pages, never for advertising. [VERIFY]

  • Stripe: __stripe_mid (lasts 1 year) and __stripe_sid (lasts 30 minutes), for fraud prevention.
  • Kustom: Kustom's checkout, shown inside our payment page, sets the cookies listed in Kustom's own cookie policy.

Optional cookies

You can allow or reject two optional categories. Rejecting is as easy as allowing, and nothing optional is set until you choose.

  • Analytics: would help us understand how the website is used.
  • Marketing: would help us measure our advertising.

We don't use any analytics or marketing cookies at present, and apart from the payment provider's form on the two payment pages, no third-party scripts run on the website. If we add any, we'll list them here first and only set them after you allow them.

Changing your choice

Use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; the strictly necessary ones will be set again when you use the website.

More about how we use personal data is in our Privacy policy.
